Experiments gone wrong

Entry for The Movie Contest:
28. Resident Evil Trilogy - Zombies!!!


When I chose my number I was ready to get stuck in a wonderfully random scenario, but I was even more surprised when I saw how fitting the characters I got were somehow, considering who of course I was looking forward to draw. I mean, Kabuto and zombies? So right it was almost hilarious.

A couple of little problems still remained: first, I had watched only the first movie from the trilogy, and not even recently; second, I had never ever drawn a zombie in my life. But I think this only added to the fun. XD

Though the real fun was the research I had to do about Resident Evil Zombies, and when I found the perfect ones for my purpose.

From right to left:
Kabuto as Doctor Sam Isaacs: one of the main Umbrella (mad) scientists, who conducts unscrupulous human experiments to create an army of super-zombies (wait a sec, where do I have already heard something like that...? ) and ends up infected by a zombie, making things even worse when he injects himself with the antidote. As if this weren't enough, the initial stage of his infection looked so insanely similar to the beginning of Kabuto's mutation. And at last he even gets a fancy tentacled hand, which I thought would look even fancier with tentacles turned into some sort of zombified snakes. °w°

Orochimaru as a Licker. Oh my friggin' LOL, I don't think I even have to say more about this.

And then I just couldn't resist the urge of inviting a badass Alice to the party, and after long deliberation I realized Anko was just the perfect choice. So I can even say that in this drawing really are all my three very favourite Naruto characters reunited.
